Rick Miller has spent the past 11 years at Medtronic, the global leader in medical devices. For the last 3 years, he has been the Director of Global Network Services. Prior Medtronic positions include Director of Data Centers, Director of Distributed Computing, and Director of Support Services.

Prior to Medtronic, Rick spent three years in the heydays of the 90's leading a professional services practice for ARC. For six years, he led the external support computer support organization for United Parcel Services at their corporate IT organization in Mahwah, New Jersey. Rick also spent 7 years as a Naval officer including service on a Nuclear Submarine. He received a B.S. in Management Science from Central Washington University in 1982 and an MBA from the University of Washington in 1991.
