Software Engineer (Web Application Development)
Position
Join an exceptionally talented team of software engineers with broad technical interests including optimization algorithms, data modeling, user interfaces, and network management. Tap into your creativity and development skills to design and develop next-generation software products focused on application and network performance monitoring and analysis.
You will use your programming skills and analytical skills to research, design, and develop intuitive user interface solutions. You will participate in the full software engineering cycle which starts with analyzing and understanding client requirements, working with senior developers in developing solutions that fulfill client needs within budget and schedule constraints, and helping in shaping the overall software architecture.
Qualifications
Here’s what you should bring to the table:
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, or Physics degree or equivalent experience
- Solid experience writing and debugging Java web applications, including JavaScript/AJAX
- Experience with one or more of the following is desirable but not required:
- o Creating graphical user interfaces via Swing or SWT
- Working knowledge of C/C++
- Database access via JDBC
- Attention to detail, good communication and organizational skills, ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work on multiple concurrent projects effectively with a team.
- Must be motivated to have an impact on our products, our company, and the state of the art
